Practice Operations
PARKING & POOL ADMITTANCE
Parking will be available on John Tyler Drive. Each member who will be driving to campus must tell the gate attendant that they are attending masters swim practice.
A roster will be kept at the pool for the pool admin/lifeguard at the pool gate for admittance.
ARRIVAL & CHECK IN
Members need to check in with coaches prior to the start of practice.
POOL SET UP
All practices will be SCY unless previously set up by the Pepperdine Swimming & Diving team. MWA will occupy no more than 6 lanes for SCY.
PRACTICE
Practices will be one hour in length.
Every member is expected to share lanes. Coaches will assign lanes based on ability.
The practice schedule will be published to the website monthly. Any changes made to the practice schedule, members will be notified via email and social media.
Members are allowed to borrow equipment (caps, kickboards, goggles, etc.) All equipment must be returned and stored properly at the conclusion of every practice.
FACILITY USE
Use of the pool outside of practice hours is not permitted and a violation of our membership agreement. Any violation is subject to removal from the club at the discretion of the coaches.
There is no access to any locker rooms or showers. Members may change in the general restrooms located in the Firestone Field House.NO DECK CHANGING!!
Members are permitted to use hot tubs at the conclusion of practice only. Use will be contingent upon facility hours and shall not interfere with Pepperdine Athletics.
